Rosemead Invite 2025 Recap
ROSEMEAD, Calif. -- The 2025 Rosemead Invitational took place on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at Rosemead High School, California. The course distance was 3.0 miles and the meet was filled with blazing times and fierce competition.
 
Girls Senior Race
 
Millie Bayles from Trabuco Hills High School won in a time of 16:29.2 with her teammate, Anna Desormeau, finishing second in 16:53.9. Mira Costa HS won the team title with a total of 45 points with their top runner, Alana Clarke, placing third overall in 16:59.7.
 
Boys Senior Race
 
Carson Ehman of Mira Costa won in a time of 14:28.2 to lead his Mira Costa HS squad to the team victory with a total of 27 points. Finishing runner up was Adrien Guerrero of Downey HS (Southern Section) in 14:41.8. Rounding out the top three was Leo Diaz of Norwalk HS in a time of 14:42.7.
 
Notable Performances:
 
Freshman, Amberly McDowell of Millikan HS, was the only freshman girl to break 18 minutes on the Rosemead Invite course this year, running 17:59.3.
 
The freshman, Urijah Quiroz of Cajon HS, won the freshmen boy’s race by almost 30 seconds, running a time of 15:39.7.
 
Isabella Amy of Mira Costa HS won the sophomore girls race in 17:53.2, more than 25 seconds ahead of the runnerup, Ysabella Ponio of Downey HS (Southern Section) (18:19.7).
 
Gabriel Zamora of Hesperia HS broke 15 minutes, running 14:58.4. He was over 30 seconds faster than the second place finisher, Tyler Der of Fullerton HS (15:37.7).
 
Mia Ritter of Mira Costa HS won the girls junior race in 17:21.4. She was over 20 seconds ahead of the runnerup, Lauren Gutierrez La Mirada, who ran 17:44.8.
 
Ayden Ramirez of Cajon HS scorched the Rosemead Invite three mile course in a time of 14:34.0. He finished 12 seconds ahead of the second place finisher, Killian Cistone of Mira Costa HS (14:46.4)
